Job Description
As a Senior Care Assistant at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will provide high-quality, person-centred care in care homes. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate personal care, assisting with daily living activities, performing clinical tasks (observations, wound care, catheter/stoma care), supervising junior staff, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting patients with long-term conditions and end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months paid UK care experience within last 3 years in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role
- Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (required)
- SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with proven experience in medication administration
- Relevant registration (SSSC, SCW, NISSC) for Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland
- Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling
