About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Community Care Assistant to join the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] team in Swansea. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide life enhancing, person centred care to people within their own homes. Applicants must be female only and have a manual drivers licence.

Responsibilities

  • Personal care and support to promote comfort and wellbeing
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Live in care for those who need round the clock care
  • Promoting independence and autonomy
  • Safe medication administration
  • Specialist clinical care for complex needs
  • Palliative and end of life care

Requirements

  • At least 6 months paid professional care experience in the UK
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience with complex care preferred but not essential
  • Relevant registration if in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland
  • Ability to understand verbal and written English
  • Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork
