Responsibilities
- Lead the complete novation lifecycle by managing the transfer of contractual rights and obligations between outgoing and incoming suppliers or entities.
- Review existing contracts to identify novation requirements, dependencies, risks, and ensure legal and commercial accuracy.
- Prepare and coordinate novation agreements and all supporting documentation in alignment with legal, procurement, and compliance teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors to align timelines, resolve issues, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Monitor and track progress through structured novation trackers, maintaining documentation, approvals, and milestone updates.
- Ensure risk mitigation and governance by assessing legal/operational impacts, maintaining audit-ready records, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
