FULL DESCRIPTION

Desk Delivery Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Desk Delivery Manager to support the Project Manager in managing back-office resources for the OSA contract with Openreach. Based in Liverpool. Full-time, salary £30,000 - £32,000.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the project manager through management of the back office and field force
  • Assist with training, coordination of tasks to ensure sufficient work in line with targets
  • Ensure workforce is fully accredited in Openreach, council and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] requirements
  • Chair and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Verify all direct labour timesheets and subcontractor invoices
  • Ensure all DFEs are captured and applied for
  • Ensure customer targets are met and maintain strong fluidity of work
  • Compile accurate reports on all work aspects
  • Work safely within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] values and policies
  • Adapt processes and improve efficiencies
  • Keep systems updated (Depot net/CRM)
  • Ensure costs attributed against project are accurate
  • Maintain strong WIP position
  • Build strong relationships with project team and customer
  • Adhere to all company policies and develop team
  • Give constant feedback to Project Manager
  • Deliver project in most cost-effective way

Person Specification

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and history of managing change
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of reporting up to director level
  • Proven track record of hitting KPIs in fast-paced environment
  • Competency in managing change effectively
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritise work, work under pressure, meet deadlines
  • Adaptable and flexible approach
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Education and Qualifications

  • Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
  • Enjoy a challenge, excellent interpersonal skills
  • High standard of numeracy
  • Educated to GCSE level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent)
  • Computer literate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, continuous improvement

Terms and Conditions
