About The Role

• Salary: £30,431.37 per annum (£14.50 per hour)
• Hours: Average 40.25 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday (typically 6:30am–7pm)
• Contract: Full-time

Are you ready to step up and support operational excellence in a fast-paced warehousing and packaging environment? [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a motivated Section Leader to assist the Section Manager in managing daily activities across intake, packaging, or yard areas.

You will play a crucial role in leading your team, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving continuous improvements to meet production targets.

What You'll Do

• Support smooth and efficient operations within your assigned area, meeting performance targets
• Motivate and develop your team, providing guidance, training, and on-the-job coaching
• Monitor workflow and quickly address any delays to keep production on track
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards, conducting regular safety audits
• Act as a key communication link between operatives and management
• Complete accurate records and reports to keep leadership informed
• Identify and implement process improvements alongside the Section Manager

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in warehousing, intake, or packaging roles
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Good organisational, communication, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in production or warehouse settings
• Desirable: familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and health & safety certification (e.g., IOSH)
