Your Career

As a Data Engineer at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you’ll join a team where your technical skills will grow rapidly through hands‑on delivery, exposure to modern data engineering practices, and collaboration with experts across cloud, software engineering, and data architecture. You’ll work with advanced SQL, Python, Azure PaaS, and modern data frameworks, with a clear pathway to senior engineering opportunities.

Your Team

You’ll be part of a collaborative data engineering function responsible for powering PeopleFirst, our flagship HR and Payroll platform. Working closely with Cloud Platform, Data Architects, Security, Software Engineering, and Product teams.

Your Impact

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing robust data solutions using SQL, Python, and Azure technologies such as Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, Synapse, and more
  • Designing and optimising data structures, storage, and query performance
  • Contributing to the delivery of new data platforms and features for core and non‑core product areas
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure data security and GDPR compliance
  • Supporting BI and ML engineering practices
  • Delivering proof‑of‑concepts
  • Helping internal teams with data modelling and best‑practice engineering
