About the Role

In our Back of House division, we’ve introduced a new kind of role alongside our existing engineering paths: the Lead Product Builder. Product Builders are high-agency engineers who shape what gets built, not just how. As a Lead Product Builder, you will operate at the forefront of this transformation. You’ll be responsible for identifying, driving and delivering high-leverage product opportunities that span teams and domains.
Your Mission
- Take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives - from problem definition to prototype to production.
- Build rapidly, ship often and iterate based on real feedback.
- Lead the design and implementation of systems that power product-led growth, intelligent onboarding, multi-property operational tooling, and AI-powered Smart Tips.
- Work closely with Product Managers and Designers.
- Operate as a self-contained unit: making decisions, running experiments and owning delivery.
- Set a high bar for technical and product quality.
- Mentor Engineers who wish to become Product Builders.
- Champion AI-native development across the team.
- Make pragmatic use of cloud-native platforms and managed services.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience delivering customer-facing software with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience as a senior engineer in a product-driven company.
- Track record of leading large-scale initiatives.
- Strong product instincts.
- Comfortable defining scope and navigating ambiguity.
- Expert in modern AI development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable).
- Strong communicator with strategic influence.
