Publishing Marketing Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Publishing Marketing Assistant to work across four publications (Grand Designs, Good Homes, ICON, OnOffice). The role involves social media campaigns, content creation, email marketing, website updates, and data analysis. Based in Loughton, Essex. This is a full-time, on-site position.

General Overview
This role will be working across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Publishing division comprising of four publications: Grand Designs Magazine Online, Good Homes Magazine Online, ICON and OnOffice.
- Grand Designs Magazine: Connects with an affluent home renovation audience, offering expert advice on architecture, design, construction and interiors ideas.
- Good Homes Magazine: Celebrates all things home and interiors, providing homeowners with inspiration for every room.
- ICON: One of the world’s leading architecture and design magazines, published quarterly in print and daily online.
- OnOffice: World’s leading publication for the commercial architecture and design community.
The Candidate
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic marketing assistant who is creative, personable and an organised person with excellent communication skills. They should also have the ability to deliver multiple projects on time and be motivated to hit KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a particular interest in digital marketing and/or content marketing. Experience using Canva, Adobe products such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
Duties
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for each brand.
- Work with the team to create engaging industry content and distribute via website, email and social media.
- Manage regular website updates, liaising with external suppliers.
- Track and analyse effectiveness of digital marketing activity, provide internal reports.
- Assist in creation of email campaigns, analyse and report results.
- Assist in creation of online stories and weekly newsletters for ICON and OnOffice.
What You Are Good At
- Degree educated in marketing or similar
- Methodical, organised and analytical
- Confident and communicative, able to use initiative
- Team player with a sense of humour
- Quick learner
- Able to juggle multiple campaigns and prioritise urgent tasks
- Writing capability with awareness of tone of voice
- Experience in a similar role as intern or part of degree (desirable)
- Experience using email service providers (Adestra) and web CMS (desirable)
- Experience using Canva/Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
- Interest in design or home content (desirable)

Location and Work Schedule
This role will be based at our Loughton, Essex office Monday to Friday.
