Directeur Administratif et Financier Adjoint

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Deputy Administrative and Financial Director. This is a full-time, permanent on-site role based in South Kensington, London. Salary: £3,956.49 per month. Closing date: 26 May 2024.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Director, the Deputy Director coordinates budget and material management teams (maintenance, catering, cleaning, IT) for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (LFCG) and its three annexes. He/she participates in multi-year budget planning, monitors execution (CIB), oversees revenue and expenditure services, and supervises laboratory technicians. The role also involves managing public procurement, coordinating property and maintenance projects, and contributing to health and safety policy with the Health & Safety manager.

Responsibilities

  • Budget accounting: preparation of initial and amended budgets, internal budgetary control, supervision of revenues and expenditures.
  • Material management: needs assessment, prioritization, multi-year planning, procurement in compliance with public procurement rules, contract follow-up.
  • Health & Safety: coordination with H&S manager, fire safety protocols, PPMS, preventive maintenance plan, CHSCT preparation.
  • Relations with partner primary schools: maintenance, safety, catering, cleaning coordination, quarterly management meetings, lease follow-up.

Required Profile

  • Mastery of public budgetary and accounting regulations (GBCP).
  • Mastery of public procurement principles.
  • Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations for ERP and schools.
  • Strong adaptability and initiative.
  • Ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in office tools; knowledge of SIBC ELAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, VAT, Brexit implications, and UK employment law.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in emergencies.
  • Perfect bilingualism in English and French.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly gross salary: £3,956.49 (including all bonuses). Employer contribution to private health insurance, 15% employer pension contribution, 60 days of annual leave.
