FULL DESCRIPTION
Experimented Physical Education (PE) Teacher
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in South Kensington, London, is seeking an experienced PE teacher for a full-time fixed-term contract from 1st September 2024 to 31 August 2025.
About the Role
The position involves teaching Physical Education to middle school and high school students in both the French section and British section. Weekly hours are 19 (19/19º).
Expected Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified PE Teacher from the United Kingdom (PGCE or QTS) or France (CAPEPS / CAFEP / AGREGATION EPS, or equivalent).
- Desired experience at middle school and high school level in France and/or in the network of French high schools abroad.
- Very good knowledge of French programs required.
- A practice of the French language would be appreciated.
- Ability to work in a team, demonstrate dynamism and motivation, and actively participate in the life of the department.
Conditions
- The appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and, if applicable, a criminal disclosure record from previous countries of residence.
- Non-British citizens must provide evidence of their right to work in the UK (B1 English level required for visa).
- Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
