Job Description

The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in London is seeking a Communications Officer (Chargé(e) de Communication) for a fixed-term contract from 20 May 2024 to 30 May 2025. The mission involves internal, external communication and event management.

Responsibilities

  • Writing articles for the website (in French and English)
  • Design of communication materials (brochures, posters, newsletter, yearbook, greeting cards)
  • Assistance in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
  • Assistance in event coordination
  • Photography and management of image bank and audio-visual archives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Baccalauréat or equivalent (A Level) - copy of diploma required
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Audiovisual capture skills
  • Social media expertise
  • Excellent written and spoken French and English
  • Organisational and initiative skills
  • Teamwork ability

Additional Information

Weekly hours: 40h/week, 40 weeks/year (1600h annually). Location: South Kensington, London. Benefits: Employer contribution to private health insurance, 15% employer pension contribution, 60 days holiday per year.
