Teacher - Digital and Information Technologies
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an innovative and inspiring Teacher of Digital and Information Technologies, including Computer Science, to join the School of Digital Technologies at the Printworks campus. This is a permanent full-time role with a salary of £31,916 to £35,912 per annum. Closing date: 20 May 2026.
About the Role
You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant content across a range of courses, helping learners build skills for success in the digital world. Working in a collaborative and progressive team, you will contribute to a curriculum that reflects the evolving tech landscape.
- Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, and assessment plans.
- Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with learners to ensure successful outcomes.
- Use and promote restorative practice approaches.
About You
- Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE).
- Relevant highest level vocational qualification or degree in teaching subject.
- Relevant up-to-date subject knowledge and recent delivery in Further Education or school sector.
- Experience of setting appropriate SMART targets.
- Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
