About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is one of the largest further education institutions in the country. We are looking for a Customer Experience Assistant to join a dynamic team. This role is based at our Pudsey Sixth Form Campus but you will be part of a team that are expected to cover all our Leeds based campuses.
Our welcoming reception areas and contact centre are a hub of activity. We are the first and last point of contact for our students, staff & visitors. Therefore, first impressions are very important. We are responsible for working alongside the Student Recruitment and Customer Experience Department in ensuring the customer experience team are on point at all times.
What You Will Do
- Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is delivered consistently to students, staff, stakeholders and external visitors.
- To provide customer service, information and guidance over a number of different contact facilities (calls, webchat, email and face to face).
- Working with KPI’s and meeting or exceeding set targets.
- Frequently attend coaching, 121’s and staff development sessions to improve knowledge and productivity.
- Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
- Provide an excellent level of customer service that represents the company’s brand.
- Delivery of the campus health and safety & emergency response procedures including first aid.
- To work to flexible and diverse workflows and shift patterns including evenings and some weekends.
About You
- Experience of working in a customer focused role/environment.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Good communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem solving skills.
- Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or above (or commitment to achieving this within one year of appointment).
Must be willing to work across campuses within Leeds City Centre and Pudsey.
