Executive Director, Transformation Lead- Tech Ops and G&A
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Executive Director, Transformation Lead for Tech Ops and G&A to drive enterprise-wide transformation programs. This is a remote role based in London, UK or Philadelphia, PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]' enterprise transformation vision into integrated, multi-year strategies, roadmaps, and value cases across assigned functional or enterprise domains.
- Partner with the Chief Transformation Officer and EC members to identify, prioritize, and shape transformation initiatives that drive a high performing organization, growth, patient impact and cost efficiency.
- Define future-state operating models considering portfolio evolution, market dynamics, digital enablement, and organizational capabilities.
- Serve as accountable executive owner for major transformation programs, with responsibility for outcomes from concept through full-scale implementation and sustainment.
- Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple workstreams, functions, and geographies, ensuring alignment to enterprise objectives and interdependencies.
- Oversee design and implementation of new ways of working, including structure, governance, decision rights, processes, incentives, capabilities, and technology.
- Act as a thought partner and challenger to senior leaders, providing objective insight, rigorous analytics, and scenario-based recommendations.
- Engage in productive challenge with EC members and functional leaders to drive alignment, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate decision-making.
- Represent transformation progress, risks, and outcomes to the Executive Committee and other senior governance forums.
- Set the change agenda and ensure deep, lasting embedding of transformation outcomes across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
- Lead enterprise-wide change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, capability building, and cultural reinforcement.
- Anticipate and actively manage resistance, enabling leaders and teams to adopt new mindsets and behaviors aligned with a customer- and patient-first orientation.
- Lead and develop matrixed transformation teams and workstream leaders, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Partner closely with executive leaders of assigned functions (e.g., R&D, Commercial, G&A, Digital) to ensure seamless integration and execution of transformation initiatives.
- Model enterprise thinking and drive solutions that optimize outcomes for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] as a whole, not individual functions.
- Define enterprise-level KPIs, success metrics, and value realization plans linked to transformation objectives.
- Monitor progress rigorously, course-correct as needed, and ensure delivery of committed outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in life sciences, healthcare, management consulting, or enterprise transformation roles.
- Proven record of leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional transformations with measurable business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to operate credibly at the Executive Committee level, including preparing and delivering executive-level presentations.
- Deep expertise in one or more areas such as Commercial, R&D, G&A, digital transformation, operating model design, or enterprise change.
- Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect strategy, data, operating models, and culture.
- Highly effective influencer who works across silos and leads through ambiguity without direct authority.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with agile, design thinking, lean, or modern change methodologies strongly preferred.
Additional Information
Base pay range: $272,000.00 - $408,000.00 per year. Eligible for discretionary annual cash bonus and equity grants. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
