Role and Responsibilities
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] small and growing service provider, vendor-independent expert business focused on the financial CRM (ERP systems). Currently based in Cheshire. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] works with clients to design, develop and deliver strategies and solutions enabling technology transformation across the entire CRM systems like Salesforce and SAP. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] worked with few clients in different Industries. Registered service provider with VEOLIA UK & Ireland IS&T.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer. You’ll be helping us undertake an exciting and fast-paced Salesforce implementation across the entire business, you’ll contribute towards helping us shape CICD process of Salesforce project.
- Your role will be primarily focussed on setting up CI/CD process and implement deployment process and improvements for our partners, customers and colleagues.
- Maintain, Operate and support the CI/CD process
- Collaborate with developers to improve their skills towards CI/CD process
- Take active part in release management
- Able to develop custom pipelines and validations-based business request
- Lower the Iteration of Devs by automating the services.
- Support across all environments (from Tooling to Prod, from CICD to Application issues).
- Implement the monitoring around the environments.
- Implement, Maintain & Operate the Service Catalogue.
- Responsible for upgrades, maintenance and patching.
- Responsible for backups.
- Knowledge Sharing/Education.
- Encourage Best Practices.
- Prevents teams from reinventing the wheel by solving common problems
- Ensure smooth operation

Skills & Experience
- DevOps Knowledge (GreatSet, Gitlab, Jenkins, CICD, Github..)
- AWS knowledge
- ITSM Knowledge (Incident, Event, Change etc)
- Good experience in Support Functions (Cloud support, Dev support, Prod support).
- Between 2- and 3-years’ experience as a DevOps or related discipline.
- High level of autonomy.
- Salesforce package xml knowledge and salesforce development skills
