About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to join our team on a fixed-term basis. Based in the vibrant setting of Gough’s Café, no two days are the same—offering variety, pace, and a role where you can genuinely make a difference to the guest experience. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable visits through excellent service, strong product knowledge, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all food and beverage areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest service at all times
• Develop a strong knowledge of products to confidently advise and assist guests
• Operate tills in line with cash handling procedures
• Clear and clean tables efficiently
• Maintain clean, tidy, and well-presented front-of-house areas
• Support sales through effective stock replenishment and upselling
• Minimise waste and accurately record end-of-day figures
• Ensure all service areas meet internal hygiene and audit standards
• Handle and maintain equipment safely and correctly

About You

• Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a food and beverage environment would be an advantage, although full training will be provided
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering great service
• Confident communicator with a friendly and approachable manner
• A strong team player who can also work well under pressure
• Reliable, honest, and takes pride in their work
• Flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings, and additional hours when required

Your Contract

This is a fixed-term contract working 14 hours per week until 7th September 2026. Shifts are worked on a 7-day rota, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings. Typical shifts range between 8:00am and 8:00pm, depending on operational requirements.
