As one of the largest and fastest-growing independent school groups in the UK, the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group ([Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) is looking for a Marketing Projects Manager to manage projects that support key objectives of the marketing team.

This varied and exciting role is ideal for a generalist marketer with exceptional project management and people skills. The right person will be excited by the idea of taking full ownership of specific projects – from idea creation through to project performance – and enjoy the experience of working in a fast-paced organisation within a friendly and supportive team.

What you will focus on

• Working closely with an external web developer, designer and relevant site staff, project-manage the creation and completion of new websites. This would include confirming content structure, obtaining and, where necessary, creating content, agreeing website design, reviewing user experience and monitoring website performance post launch.
• Support schools and nurseries in the planning, promotion and implementation of a range of events to drive the number of prospective visits against agreed objectives.
• Test out and review a range of marketing campaigns – from digital activities such as social media adverts to PR opportunities – and evaluate the effectiveness of each campaign against agreed objectives.
• Identify the best performing marketing initiatives and project manage the implementation of the most successful activities across multiple relevant schools and nurseries.
• Where necessary, develop guidance and best practice to support the schools and nurseries with the implementation of frequent, high quality social media content.
• Establish clear deadlines and budgets for each project and ensure effective tracking is in place to prevent delays or overspend.
• Communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders to ensure that everyone involved in a project is aware of progress and that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.

Qualifications and experience

• A degree, ideally in marketing, project management, journalism, advertising, public relations or English.
• Ideally 5 years of relevant work experience
