Social Media Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Social Media Manager for a 12-month maternity cover from September 2025. This hybrid role is based in London and offers a competitive salary. Key responsibilities include leading social media content across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, community management, performance reporting, and staying on top of social trends.

Main Responsibilities

  • Content creation: copywriting, copy editing, advising on creative briefs
  • Content delivery: partner with content managers to optimize social creative assets
  • Community management: monitoring School social channels and responding appropriately
  • Boosting: supporting organic social boosting
  • Performance reporting: analyzing data and assisting with performance narratives
  • Social trends: keeping up-to-date with social/digital media trends

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience managing social media accounts with diverse B2B/B2C audiences
  • Deep understanding of key social media channels
  • Thorough working knowledge of paid social media
  • Thorough working knowledge of social media analytics, e.g. LinkedIn Analytics
  • Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Falcon, or Sprout
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written English and communication skills
