As an Out of Hours Advice and Prevention Officer, you’ll provide urgent homelessness assistance outside normal working hours, offering clear advice, assessing immediate needs, and arranging emergency accommodation in line with statutory requirements.

The role

  • You’ll work closely with partners and our daytime Housing Solutions team to ensure continuity of care, while safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families.
  • You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, can stay calm under pressure, and want to make a real difference in people’s lives.
  • Evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts are part of the rota, with full training and support provided.
