Resource Executive

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Resource Executive to support the Resourcing and Talent Development Manager in the UK Employment Legal Practice Group.

About the Role

We are looking for a Resource Executive to work alongside the Resourcing and Talent Development Manager in our UK Employment Legal Practice Group. The role will provide crucial strategic support to manage the existing resource pool and their development needs.

  • Continuously assess and develop processes to manage capacity data and allocate work efficiently.
  • Run resourcing-related meetings and maintain capacity tools.
  • Motivate and acknowledge excellent performance in collaboration with Talent Partners.
  • Monitor and report on individual and group utilisation.
  • Provide Partners with options to resource work based on capacity, skillset, and profitability.
  • Pro-actively anticipate and manage periods of increased/reduced busyness.
  • Map skills and experience in the team and spot gaps.
  • Integrate new joiners and work with them to become fully utilised.
  • Resource and manage core team client secondments.
  • Build strong relationships across the group and firm.

About You

You will have a professional manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Ideally you will have prior experience in work allocation or resource management within a legal, professional services or corporate environment.

  • Strong management and communication skills with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to manage a busy and demanding workload.
  • Resilience, flexibility and a proactive 'can do' attitude.
