A leading boutique consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced R&D Tax Consultant to support the continued growth of its specialist team. Key Responsibilities

• Leading the preparation and delivery of R&D tax claims, with a strong focus on oil and gas clients
• Working closely with engineers, technical specialists, and finance teams to identify qualifying activities
• Translating complex technical projects into robust, compliant R&D tax claims
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the claim process
• Supporting HMRC enquiries and ensuring high standards of compliance
• Contributing to the development of internal processes and technical knowledge within the team

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in R&D Tax, ideally with exposure to oil and gas projects
• Strong understanding of qualifying R&D activities within engineering-heavy environments
• Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and financial stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and compliance
