A specialist, niche family law practice in South London is seeking a Junior Family Solicitor (NQ-2 years PQE) to join its expanding team. The practice operates exclusively in private family law, with core expertise spanning divorce and financial remedy proceedings, private children law, cohabitation disputes and TOLATA claims, and domestic abuse and Family Law Act applications. The firm has offices in Croydon and Wimbledon (SW19) and is known for strong client relationships and technical expertise.

The Role

This is a hands-on position offering early responsibility within a supportive but busy environment. The successful candidate will:

  • Manage their own caseload across a range of private family matters
  • Assist senior solicitors on more complex and high-value cases
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of family law work, including financial and children matters
  • Take an active role in client contact, case progression, and court-related work

Ideal Candidate

  • NQ -2 years PQE with solid experience in private family law
  • Confident handling divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters
  • Able to manage a busy caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Keen to develop within a specialist, high-performing team
