Person Specification

• GPhC registered
• Able to provide high-quality care and customer service
• Capable of the safe, legal and effective day-to-day running of a community pharmacy
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with patients and customers, with integrity & compassion
• You will be required to build good team working relationships, encourage learning and development and manage staff with the support of the Branch Lead & HR
• Leadership skills
• Community pharmacist experience preferred, but not essential

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medication accurately & in a timely manner
• Adhere to legal & ethical guidelines and compliance, updating knowledge & skills as necessary
• Ensure patient and branch records are kept accurate & up to date in accordance with any deadlines
• Provide expert advice on medication, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
• Educate patients on proper medication use, such as dosage, timing, and storage instructions
• Provide various patient services, e.g. vaccinations & the Pharmacy First services
• Support branch-level HR operations within your team
