Job Overview

Our client is looking for a highly driven, data-oriented Production / Studio Manager to lead regional production performance, planning, and continuous improvement across their artwork and CGI operations. This role involves shaping production planning, measurement, and optimization using data and insights. A strong technical understanding of the CGI packaging packshot industry is a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimise regional production performance, ensuring delivery against SLAs, quality standards, and key efficiency metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing errors, improving utilisation, and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Lead production planning and capacity management across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
  • Optimise resources and team capability through data-driven decisions.
  • Leverage data analysis and insights to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and enhance reporting through automation, standardisation, and effective visualisation.
  • Lead and approve production process improvements at regional level.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to align processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary production team.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in production management within creative environments (artwork, print, CGI), including leading large teams (circa 40 people).
  • Preferably from the packaging industry; CGI experience desirable.
  • Data-driven thinker who uses insight to challenge and improve performance.
  • Proactive leader balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to drive performance and profitability.
