About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a high-achieving inner-city comprehensive school with 1,200 students, including a thriving Sixth Form. We were judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted (Dec 2023) and Outstanding in all nine areas in our 2024 Diocesan Inspection. We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Creative Art Teacher to join our outstanding team in a part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent position. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspire creativity and artistic confidence in young people, and contribute to the continued success of a thriving Creative Arts department.

Ideal Candidate

  • Be a qualified and motivated teacher of Creative Arts.
  • Have a strong track record of delivering outstanding lessons and securing excellent learner outcomes.
  • Be able to teach Creative Arts across Key Stages 3 and 4; experience of Key Stage 5 teaching is desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and media.
  • Be committed to developing students’ creativity, confidence, independent thinking, and appreciation of the arts.
  • Demonstrate high expectations, excellent classroom practice, and a clear commitment to the Teachers’ Standards.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for transforming young people’s futures.
  • Embrace and actively support our Catholic ethos.
