The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated, hunter-style Business Development Specialist to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and drive new business growth across data analytics, AI, cloud, and digital innovation projects. You will be instrumental in expanding our footprint in the Financial Services & Insurance sector.
- Location: London, UK (Hybrid, 2 days at Canary Wharf)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)
- Base Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (gross/year)
- On-Target Earnings: £90,000 – £105,000
Your Impact
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities
- Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline through proactive prospecting
- Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, particularly in Financial Services & Insurance
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to shape tailored solutions
- Leverage partnerships (Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, AWS, Microsoft) to co-sell
What We Look For
- 4+ years experience in new business development (hunter role) in IT services, data, AI, or cloud
- Proven track record of closing new logos from scratch
- Experience selling consulting services in Data, AI or IT
- Solid understanding of Data & AI use cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
