Location: Hayling Island
Salary: from £16.25 per hour plus additional £3000 - £6000 pa for sleep-ins. (£62.64 per sleep-in)
Shift patterns - Full time working long days plus extra sleep in on a shift pattern
About the Role
We are looking for residential support workers to become part of our family home, caring for vulnerable Children who have sometimes complex emotional difficulties and keeping them safe from harm. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop. The role can be challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What Do You Need?
- Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
- Great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
- A minimum of 12 months Childrens home experience and a level 3 qualification in residential childcare which will be recognised in your hourly pay rate.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
- Full UK Driving licence is required.
