The Role

As a Production Planning Administrator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that customer orders are scheduled accurately and efficiently, while keeping our machines running at their best. You’ll juggle deadlines, machine capabilities, stock levels, and changing priorities – all while staying composed and focused. This is a fast-paced, problem-solving role where resilience and a steady head make all the difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Delivery Performance – Monitor order progress and support high service levels. Flag issues early and help keep communication clear and proactive.
  • Data & Accuracy – Maintain precise planning data and ensure systems reflect real-time status. Review job tickets, specs, and machine capabilities to avoid errors.
  • Problem Solving & Resilience – Respond calmly when challenges arise – machine breakdowns, urgent orders, last‑minute changes. Help find practical solutions that keep production on track.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Calm, steady, and reliable under pressure – able to prioritise and adapt quickly.
  • Comfortable working with data, production systems, and fast-moving information.
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works well across departments.
