Warehouse Operative (Goods In)

Location: Durham, County Durham

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Type: Temporary

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative (Goods In) for our client based in Durham (DH1)

  • Weekly pay – From £12.75ph
  • Working hours Monday to Thursday 06:00am-16:30pm – EVERY FRIDAY OFF / LONG WEEKEND
  • Overtime paid for Friday as and when available
  • Temporary ongoing with a view to transfer permanent after twelve weeks probation period

Duties

  • Order picking from stock lists
  • Using computer to add stock onto the system
  • Picking and packing of orders
  • Putting stock away into the right warehouse locations
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient
  • Manual handling duties
  • Assisting with goods in and general stock handling

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a fast paced warehouse
  • Previous warehouse, picking, packing or stock experience
  • Computer literate
  • Must hold refreshed or up to date Counterbalance licence
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
