Commerical & Strategy Manager - Nottingham

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a City Manager for the Midlands region. This full-time hybrid role is based in Birmingham, UK.

The Team

The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Teams include commercial, operations, marketing and strategy. The Regional Growth team is responsible for the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners in the five nations of the U.K. and Ireland, including our dark kitchen offering, Editions, and dedicated Chinese Category Team.

The Role

We are looking for a City Manager to join our Midlands team. You'll build relationships with our restaurant partners, improving our proposition for customers and identifying ways to continue our fast growth. You will report to the Regional Manager for the Midlands, and be based from the Birmingham office.

What you'll do:

  • Be the local expert for the cities/areas you own in the Midlands - Nottingham and Leicester.
  • Draw insights from data to improve our customer proposition neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
  • Account management for top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimising partner performance.
  • Work with Account Managers to support growth of local hero brands.
  • Identify and sign up new top local favourites to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • Map out local sales strategy, identifying value proposition gaps.
  • Understand and improve customer offering through local knowledge.
  • Maximise marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales or strategy roles.
  • Results and target oriented.
  • Comfortable using data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Hybrid working - in Birmingham office 6 times per month.
  • A UK Drivers License and a car.
