FULL DESCRIPTION
IT Technician
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an ICT Technician for a full-time, permanent position based in Slough. The salary is £27,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Duties
- Settle and manage any technical issues that impact operations by providing efficient technical solutions.
- Installation and repair of computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing, and solving problems.
- Complete a wide range of technical duties related to computer network and desktop services, including existing installations and upgrades (desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and hardware).
Your Skills and Experience
- 2+ years’ similar experience ideally within education.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- High level knowledge of common user applications and skilled in using Office 365.
- Skilled in upholding the quality of school computer equipment, installing new and existing software across the network, supplying technical support for users, and resolving technical problems.
Salary
£27,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
