Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

Summary

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester at our Romford dealership. You'll service and repair vehicles, perform diagnostics, and complete MOTs. We offer a competitive package with up to £1,500 sign-on bonus and an additional £91 per month for MOT qualified technicians.

Requirements

• NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds Level 2) minimum
• Experience with Stellantis brand products (Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Jeep, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo) is beneficial but not required
• Strong interest to learn if no direct experience
• MOT testing qualification (preferred)

Role Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles including basic diagnostics
• Ensure quality and first-time fix to delight customers
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight issues and upsell opportunities
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress
• Develop skills and knowledge via regular training
• Maintain a clean and safe work bay
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards (if qualified)
