Parts Advisor

Job Details

  • Dealership: [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Peugeot, Citroen & Leapmotors, 143 Birmingham Road, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS14 9BL
  • Salary: Basic £28,000 + bonus (1% of department profits), OTE £30,000
  • Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS!

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are efficiently distributed to Service Department Technicians
  • Selling parts directly to retail and trade customers via telephone, online and face-to-face
  • Assist customers and process orders via telephone, online and face-to-face
  • Sourcing and picking parts for internal and external customers
  • Maintain stock levels, order parts and ensure all deliveries are correct
  • Pack and load parts correctly to avoid damage or loss, for dispatch to customers via van delivery or postal/carrier services
  • Effectively communicating with our Service department
  • Carrying out some administration duties such as invoicing

Skills & Requirements

  • Technical automotive background or proven experience working with vehicle parts
  • Ability to plan, organise and meet agreed work deadlines
  • Attention to detail and maintain good, accurate quality of work
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with the team and build relationships with external customers
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • PC and web literate
