Diagnostic Technician

Diagnostic Technician position at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Melton Mowbray. Full-time, on-site. Salary range £35,000-£50,000 per year.

Job Details

  • Location: Beler Way, Melton Mowbray LE13 0DG
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, every other Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm

What you’ll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to high standards
  • Carry out electronic visual health checks (EVHC)
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely, in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling

What we’re looking for

  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Experience at either a Diagnostic, Master or Auto Electrical Technician level
  • Highly skilled mechanical knowledge
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • EV qualification desirable (training can be provided if required)
  • Main dealership background IS NOT ESSENTIAL
