Health & Safety Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Health & Safety Manager for the Hinkley Point C project. Permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week. Salary £63,000 per annum plus 8.65% bonus and benefits.
About the Role
Managing a team of H&S advisors, ownership of HPC site safety platform (Insight), collaboration with Environmental Manager, managing HSE performance indicators, reporting accidents/incidents, fire safety officer duties, reviewing RAMS and SSOW, working with Quality team, identifying training needs, participating in inductions and audits.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH (general or construction certificate)
- CITB H&S test pass for Managers & Professionals
- IOSH (desirable)
- CSCS Card (professional white)
- Fire qualification or experience
- SMSTS
- Full UK Driving License
Experience
- Managing a team of H&S professionals
- Strong knowledge of H&S regulations in construction logistics
- Construction or engineering background
- Safety in plant and vehicle operations
- Multi-disciplined safety-critical environment
- Excellent communication and IT skills
