Role Overview
We are looking for a Brand Strategy & Partnerships Director to join our international Marketing leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to shape how [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seen, understood and experienced across our markets, audiences and brands – bringing clarity, coherence and strategic focus to a diverse, multi-brand environment.
This is a role for a strategic thinker and natural collaborator who enjoys working across cultures, disciplines and brands. You will help align brand, marketing, partnerships and sales around shared priorities, ensuring our brands remain distinctive while working together to support long-term growth.
About You
- You bring significant experience in senior brand, marketing strategy or commercial alignment roles within complex, multi-brand or multi-market organisations.
- You are comfortable operating at portfolio or group level, influencing without full line ownership, and acting as a connector between central strategy and local execution.
- You have a strong understanding of brand awareness, audience strategy and go‑to‑market principles, and you enjoy working closely with sales and commercial teams to support shared objectives.
- You are analytically minded, able to turn research and performance data into clear strategic direction, and confident working with senior stakeholders across different cultures and functions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills are essential, along with a proactive, delivery-focused and commercially minded approach. Experience within education, professional services, or B2B/B2C hybrid environments is an advantage.
Your Role
- Lead group-level brand strategy to increase awareness and relevance across priority markets and audiences (UG, PG, Executive Education and B2B)
- Provide insight, research and performance analysis to inform brand positioning, market prioritisation and narrative focus
- Ensure alignment and coherence across brands while respecting individual brand ownership and local market nuance
- Lead group-level go-to-market strategy for priority degree portfolios and B2B propositions
- Translate commercial priorities into clear strategic frameworks and briefs for brand, marketing and campus teams
- Act as the strategic connector between central teams and local execution to improve speed, focus and effectiveness
- Identify, develop and activate strategic partnerships that increase brand visibility, credibility and reach
- Ensure partnership activity is aligned to priority audiences, programmes and markets
- Lead the central approach to rankings, reputation monitoring and key group-level initiatives
- Manage a central budget and oversee shared tools and platforms
- Provide cross-functional leadership across a complex matrix structure, including management of a small central team.
