Care Assistant - Complex care

Location: United Kingdom | Salary: £1000 per week (inclusive of holiday pay) | Type: Full-time, On-site

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Living Carer to support a range of clients Nationally. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own homes. This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support with mobility and safe transfers
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required
  • Administer medication in accordance with care plans and guidelines
  • Assist with daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing
  • Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behaviour
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities where needed
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a caregiving or support role preferred
  • A caring, patient, and respectful nature
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices
  • Willingness to live in the client’s home and provide flexible support

Shifts & What the Role Involves

We offer consistent and predictable shifts: 7 days a week, 24 hour care. Driver requirements if applicable. The role involves delivering compassionate 1:1 care, supporting with community access and social activities, promoting independence and dignity, providing emotional reassurance, and communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams.
