Counterbalance FLT driver

G R Employment Ltd is looking for a qualified Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This position is for an immediate start in the Wellingborough NN9 5DB area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading companies in dried fruits, nuts, and seeds.

  • Location: Irthlingborough
  • Salary: £15.17 per hour (overtime £20.13)
  • Type: Temp
  • Shift: Sunday to Thursday: 11 PM to 7 AM
  • Ends: 30/05/2026

Job Description

G R Employment Ltd is looking for a qualified Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This position is for an immediate start in the Wellingborough NN9 5DB area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading companies in dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. The company has been manufacturing for over 100 years here in the UK and providing healthy, nutritious snacks.

We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift and picking, loading, and unloading vehicles
  • Using a truck with an RF scanner to pick up and transfer stock to its designated product location
  • Maintaining cleanliness and performing general warehouse tasks
  • Demonstrating strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Working effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Valid Counterbalance licence
  • Basic experience with forklift trucks
  • Food Hygiene and Health and safety training will be given when required
