The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of IT to lead the Trust’s digital strategy and IT operations. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape and deliver a future-ready infrastructure to support outstanding teaching, learning, and operational efficiency across our schools and central team.
Working Location
This is primarily an office-based role, with flexibility to work across our academies as needed. You will be based within the Trust’s central team, with regular engagement at school sites to support strategic delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a Trust-wide digital and IT strategy.
- Establish a culture of accountability and service excellence through SLAs and KPIs.
- Position IT as a strategic enabler across all functions.
- Develop and empower the IT team through targeted professional development.
- Design and implement robust cyber and data security frameworks.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation across the Trust.
About You
You will be an experienced IT leader with a passion for education and innovation.
You will bring:
- A proven track record in a senior IT role, ideally within a multi-site or educational setting.
- Expertise in digital transformation, cloud/SaaS technologies, and cyber security.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- A strategic, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
