Job Overview
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Family Support Outreach Worker to coordinate off-site directions and managed moves on behalf of schools working in partnership across Solihull. This is a temporary appointment for 12 months (secondment opportunity where appropriate). The role includes:
- Working in partnership with all secondary settings in Solihull and cross-border schools to support pupils at risk of permanent exclusion
- Developing positive relationships with school staff and families to secure appropriate placements for vulnerable pupils
- Monitoring and tracking off-site directions, providing early intervention, and maintaining accurate records accessible to all partnering schools
