Hard FM Manager

The role involves leading onsite maintenance, lifecycle projects, and subcontractor management in a healthcare setting. Core Responsibilities
- Technical Compliance: Act as a Subject Matter Expert and Site RP (Water/Fire), ensuring strict adherence to HTM standards, statutory regulations, and safe systems of work.
- Operational Delivery: Oversee the full maintenance lifecycle—from job plans and remedial tasks to project delivery—while ensuring all contractual SLAs are met.
- Commercial Accountability: Manage P&L, supply chain partners, and resource planning to reduce costs and improve operating margins.
- Data & Asset Management: Manage the asset database and life cycle planning, using data-driven reporting to validate performance and mitigate risk.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring service delivery aligns with the Annual Operating Plan.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years in a Healthcare FM leadership role, with proven expertise in PFI/Hospital environments and managing teams of 6+.
- Deep knowledge of HTMs, L8 (Water), Fire safety, COSHH, and statutory regulations.
- IWFM Level 3 (or equivalent) and IOSH Managing Safely.
- Strong P&L management experience and a track record of managing supplier performance.
- Confident in leading change management, building client relationships, and using data to drive decisions.
