Overview of the Role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Duties Include:

• Managing access controls for visitors and staff.
• Conducting regular patrols of the museum grounds and buildings.
• Collaborating effectively as part of a dedicated security team.
• Completing all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to a consistently high standard.
• Building rapport with visitors, assisting with enquiries, and providing relevant assistance to enhance their experience.
• Building relationships with employers and community organisations.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong communicator with ability to build rapport.
• Experience in a front-facing customer service role (beneficial).
• Holds a Security license or willingness to undertake training to obtain an SIA license.
• Holds a full UK driving license.
