Waste Operative

Job Description

Working in the Waste & Recycling Team of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will need to be flexible to carry out a variety of waste/recycling collections and street cleaning duties with a total commitment to customer care, providing a quality service for residents and customers of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].

This is a physically demanding role, working outdoors in all weather. You will need to be able to undertake the heavy manual operation and activities associated with the job.

You will need to be trained and fully familiar with manual handling and lifting techniques and work in accordance with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s health and safety policies and safe systems of work.

You will be an ambassador of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and a positive role model for your fellow work colleagues, promoting diversity and equalities and inclusivity.

You will be required to carry out 'catch-up work' and may be required to assist outside normal hours with emergency works.
