[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Global is supporting a major transformation programme within the media sector, focused on the evolution of a large media organisation as part of a wider Data transformation. We are seeking experienced Business Analyst to support mobilisation and delivery across critical workstreams over the next year.
This role sits within a complex transformation programme. The Business Analyst will play a key role in shaping clear, testable requirements and ensuring strong traceability from business needs through to delivery, testing and business sign‑off.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can operate confidently between business and technical teams, bring structure to requirements management, and support delivery teams through prioritisation, testing and UAT in a fast‑paced transformation environment.
What you will be doing
- Translate high‑level business objectives into well‑defined, testable requirements that support effective delivery
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify and confirm functional and non‑functional needs
- Map existing processes and design future‑state workflows, highlighting impacts and dependencies
- Create clear and structured requirements artefacts, including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with delivery teams to support backlog grooming, prioritisation and sprint readiness
- Maintain clear linkage between requirements, development activity, testing and release outcomes
- Contribute to UAT activities, supporting test preparation, issue triage and resolution
- Coordinate business review and validation activities to enable formal approval and sign‑off
- Operate within programme governance and delivery frameworks established during mobilisation
- Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams and delivery partners to ensure shared understanding
What we are looking for
- Demonstrable experience operating as a Business Analyst on large‑scale or complex transformation initiatives. BA experience of minimum 3 years.
- Strong capability in capturing, structuring and managing both functional and non‑functional requirements
- Experience analysing current operating models and designing future‑state processes with impact assessment
- Proven ability to produce high‑quality user stories supported by meaningful acceptance criteria
- Experience working within agile delivery environments, supporting planning and backlog management activities
- Practical involvement in UAT, including coordination of testing, issue resolution and approval processes
- Ability to maintain traceability across requirements, delivery milestones and testing outcomes
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Comfortable working in fast‑moving programmes with multiple workstreams and dependencies
- Experience contributing to digital, data or technology‑led transformation programmes
- UK-based and able to travel onsite 1 to 2 days per week
Nice to haves
- Background in media, rights management or related creative sectors
- Experience operating within consultancy‑led or multi‑supplier delivery models
