Integrations Engineer - Data Transformation - UK Hybrid
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Global is supporting a major transformation programme within the media sector, focused on the evolution of a large media organisation as part of a wider data-driven transformation. We are seeking an experienced Integrations Engineer to lead the design, build and delivery of integrations between vendor platforms and client systems.
Locations: London, Belfast, Manchester | Remote status: Temporarily Remote
What you will be doing
- Work with Business Analysts to understand, refine and document integration requirements
- Own and deliver the end-to-end integration delivery plan across vendor and client systems
- Design detailed integration solutions aligned to the overall programme architecture
- Build integration components and ensure appropriate unit testing is completed
- Take responsibility for the development and unit testing of assigned integration user stories
- Manage the integration backlog, defining and running integration delivery sprints
- Ensure integration architecture across vendors is aligned, efficient and cost-effective for the client
- Collaborate closely with wider engineering, architecture and vendor teams to resolve dependencies
- Support integration testing phases and contribute to issue resolution and stabilisation
- Operate within programme governance frameworks, supporting mobilisation and ongoing delivery
What we are looking for
- Strong experience working as an Integrations Engineer on complex transformation programmes
- Proven experience designing, building and testing system-to-system integrations
- Ability to translate integration requirements into detailed technical designs
- Hands-on development experience with integration components and services
- Experience managing integration backlogs and delivering work through sprint-based delivery
- Strong understanding of integration architecture principles and cross-vendor integration patterns
- Experience ensuring quality through unit testing and supporting downstream testing activities
- Confident working with Business Analysts, vendors and internal technical teams
- Comfortable operating in environments with multiple systems, dependencies and delivery timelines
- Experience contributing to digital, data or platform-led transformation initiatives
- UK-based and able to travel onsite 1 to 2 days per week
- Experience working with third-party vendors and SaaS platforms
Nice to haves
- Background in media, rights management or related creative industries
- Exposure to large-scale data or integration-heavy transformation programmes
- Experience operating within consultancy-led or multi-supplier delivery environments
