FULL DESCRIPTION

Document Management Analyst - Elevate Programme - Belfast - starting 22 May 2026

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Document Management Analyst through the Elevate Programme. This is an early careers role based in Belfast with hybrid working (3 days onsite per week after initial training). You will manage client and entity data, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support key business processes. Full-time contract with strong progression potential.

The Opportunity

Join the Elevate Programme and launch your career at a leading professional services organisation. Over 18 months, you will receive structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience in client onboarding operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals from day one, take on meaningful responsibility, and build skills that enable progression into senior, specialist, or operational roles.

Your Role

Start your career in business operations and data with a role where accuracy matters and your work supports the systems that keep the business moving. We’re hiring for EDMS (Electronic Document Management Services) Analysts through our Elevate Programme in Belfast. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working carefully with data, solving problems, and helping keep important processes accurate, consistent, and compliant. The EDMS team acts as a gatekeeper for UK client and entity data. That means ensuring information is correct across local and global systems and supports key business processes, such as risk, independence, onboarding, and operational decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintaining and updating client and entity data across relevant systems.
  • Supporting the creation, amendment, validation, and review of data records.
  • Monitoring data quality dashboards and helping progress remediation activity.
  • Following CES and independence controls to ensure correct checks, approvals, and hierarchy updates are completed.
  • Managing data workflows accurately and escalating issues where needed.
  • Working with stakeholders across Data, Risk and Independence, and engagement teams to resolve issues and answer queries.
  • Supporting process improvements, automation activity, and ways to make the team work more effectively.
  • Contributing to project work, including helping assess the impact of policy or system changes.

What a typical day could look like

  • Joining a team huddle to review priorities and outstanding work.
  • Checking data quality dashboards to identify records or actions that need attention.
  • Working through entity creations, amendments, or validations in line with policy and process.
  • Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness before making updates.
  • Speaking with stakeholders to clarify requirements or help resolve data issues.
  • Escalating exceptions or concerns where something does not look right.
  • Sharing ideas with the team on how processes could be improved over time.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to handling data.
  • An interest in data quality, governance, or operational processes.
  • The ability to follow procedures and apply controls consistently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with different stakeholders and asking questions when needed.
  • An analytical mindset and a willingness to investigate issues properly.
  • The ability to stay organised and manage tasks effectively.
  • A proactive attitude and an interest in improving how things are done.

What success looks like in this role

  • Maintaining accurate, high-quality data across systems.
  • Following processes and controls consistently and correctly.
  • Resolving or progressing data issues in a timely way.
  • Building confidence in core EDMS processes and responsibilities.
  • Supporting the wider business with reliable data that underpins onboarding, risk, and independence activity.

Programme Benefits & Progression

This is a chance to build strong foundations in data operations, governance, stakeholder communication, and process control. You’ll gain experience in how data is managed in a large business environment, how quality and compliance are maintained, and how strong operational processes support better decisions. The skills you build here can support future progression into data, governance, risk, operations, onboarding, or business support roles. Through the Elevate Programme, you’ll receive structured support, training, and development from day one, helping you grow your confidence and capability in a professional setting.
