Role Overview
As a Trainee Manager, your main focus will be assisting in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences. You will work collaboratively with the store manager to cultivate a team that shares a passion for making every customer interaction a delightful experience. Your role also involves supporting the store manager in building connections within the local community. You will play a role in creating and executing 'top box' goals. Recruitment and upskilling of team members will be part of your responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the store manager to bring exciting ideas to life.
- Support the store manager in building a team of customer-focused individuals.
- Assist in nurturing a customer-centric team by participating in training sessions.
- Leading a management team to help achieve the store's top-box goals.
- Delegating to your management team to achieve customer and store needs.
- Out-of-the-box thinking to achieve success whilst innovating.
- Contribute to managing the store's finances, setting budgets, driving sales, controlling staffing and stock.
- Maintaining a beautiful store with effective merchandising and cleanliness.
- Develop relationships within your local community.
- Actively engage in personal development.
- Creating a shopping experience that encourages your team to make customers' day.
- Take on your own projects to make positive changes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Customer Service: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
