We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community, located in Haringey. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum confidently and independently, in line with the school's inclusive ethos.
- Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, personalised learning activities that reflect the school's commitment to high standards and holistic development.
- Support the social and emotional well-being of pupils, promoting a caring and respectful environment where every child feels valued.
- Work closely with teachers to monitor and track pupil progress, contributing to assessments and recognising individual achievements.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and disciplined environment, fostering good behaviour and mutual respect.
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific needs, ensuring their individual learning plans are implemented effectively and compassionately.
- Assist with the organisation of classroom resources and learning materials, ensuring a stimulating and well-resourced environment.
- Contribute to safeguarding procedures and promote the school's commitment to the safety and well-being of all pupils.

About the school
We are a community primary school located within the borough, serving children aged from 2 to 11. The majority of our families reside locally, many within the surrounding neighbourhood.
