Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community, located in Haringey. This role is integral to our school's mission of nurturing confident, compassionate, and capable learners who are inspired to realise their full potential. Working part-time from Wednesday to Friday, three days a week, the successful candidate will support a diverse range of pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, contributing to an inclusive environment that values individual growth, curiosity, and resilience. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum confidently and independently, in line with the school's inclusive ethos.
• Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, personalised learning activities that reflect the school's commitment to high standards and holistic development.
• Support the social and emotional well-being of pupils, promoting a caring and respectful environment where every child feels valued.
• Work closely with teachers to monitor and track pupil progress, contributing to assessments and recognising individual achievements.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and disciplined environment, fostering good behaviour and mutual respect.
• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific needs, ensuring their individual learning plans are implemented effectively and compassionately.
• Assist with the organisation of classroom resources and learning materials, ensuring a stimulating and well-resourced environment.
• Contribute to safeguarding procedures and promote the school's commitment to the safety and well-being of all pupils.

About the school

We are a community primary school located within the borough, serving children aged from 2 to 11. The majority of our families reside locally, many within the surrounding neighbourhood. We operate as a two-form entry school with a nursery offering either 15 or 30 hours per week for children aged 2, 3, and 4.
