Planning Lawyer

We are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded London Borough to recruit an experienced Locum Planning Lawyer on an initial contract basis.

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of planning and highways matters
  • Provide legal advice on: planning applications, Section 106 agreements, enforcement matters, planning appeals and inquiries
  • Support planning committees (attendance required approximately once per month)
  • Work closely with planning officers and senior stakeholders across the authority

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer
  • Proven experience working within local government planning law
  • Comfortable handling matters autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience attending planning committees is desirable
