Private Client Solicitor

Our Devon-based client is seeking a Locum Private Client Solicitor for an initial 3-month contract due to a period of long-term sick leave. The role involves managing a busy caseload of private client matters with a focus on estate administration, drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years PQE, broad private client experience, and the ability to work independently on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of private client matters, with a focus on estate administration.
  • Draft and advise on wills and lasting powers of attorney.
  • Maintain excellent client care and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ PQE in Private Client work.
  • Open to full-time or part-time hours.
  • Broader experience in wills, LPAs, and general private client work is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Able to attend the Devon office on a hybrid basis.
